CAREGIVER REGISTRATION
The Society For Biomaterials is open to all members of the biomaterials community. We recognize that some attendees may require caregiver assistance with certain daily tasks and activities. To ensure all attendees have the ability to fully engage and participate in the conference, SFB is pleased to offer a special complimentary registration for these essential individuals who would not attend the conference on their own. If you are a qualifying caregiver or recipient of these services, please contact SFB for assistance.
ECONOMIC HARDSHIP AND DEVELOPING COUNTRY BIOMATERIALS RESEARCHER TRAVEL DISCOUNT
The Society For Biomaterials (SFB) is committed to inclusivity and ensuring that all members of
the biomaterials community can participate in our annual meeting. To support this goal, SFB offers special discounted registration for members from lower and middle-income countries upon request. We recognize that financial challenges should not be a barrier to participation. To help all attendees fully engage in the conference, SFB encourages applications for discounted registration from individuals facing economic hardship, including those from developing countries or with family incomes at or below the federal poverty level.
If you would like to apply for this discount, please contact SFB Executive Director, Dan Lemyre, for assistance. Kindly provide a brief description of your economic situation or your involvement in a program in a developing country, along with a letter confirming the lack of departmental or institutional support for your attendance. For reference, please see the World Bank's list of low and middle-income countries and the Health and Human Services guidelines for economic hardship within the United States.
