2A: PANEL: Freedom-to-Fail Culture Drives Innovation in Biomaterial Research
Date: Wednesday, April 9, 2025
Time: 2:45 PM to 4:15 PM
Time: 2:45 PM to 4:15 PM
Session Type: Panel Discussion
Description
Every great research advance was paved by countless failed experiments. Indeed, the greatest innovative leaps in science have had an equally great risk of failure. As such, fear of failure may be the greatest deterrent to research progress due to missed opportunities. In this panel of respected biomaterial scientists, we will discuss how to promote a freedom-to-fail culture, fail quickly to increase progress, and embrace failure as the path to success.
